Making a bad financial choice by buying the Sims 2 on steam.

you know it's crazy how I've already forgotten about my blog and it's only been like a week. I've been so fucking busy lately with moving home after exams. I'm downloading the Sims 2 because I watched a bunch of videos about it and now I wanna play it. I'm just a little worried since the reviews on steam are mixed so I guess I'll update my thoughts after I try it.

anyways onto life stuff, I've spend the last 3ish days just working on more 40k models. I got a Russ built this one being a punisher with the Gatling gun. From what I've heard it's not very good on the table top but it was a personal request from my dad so I did it to humor him. I decided to make it just an infantry destroyer. Equipping it with heavy flamers and a lascannon in case it needs some heavier armor penetration. On the infantry side of things I got a Heavy Weapons Squad and a Terminator painted. If you're wondering why his face is showing it's because I lost the actual helmet head and had to reluctantly paint his face. Oh and I finally got this painting station set up with an overhead light so now all my paint jobs look professional and stuff.

 

Actually before I left for the semester the Warhammer club I'm apart of did this "Apocalypse" game where everyone brought 2000 points of models and we all played at once. I don't know where you stand on if that sounds like it's fun or not but I assure you it wasn't. it was so boring having nothing happen in my turn and then having to wait like an hour just for me to get tabled by some guy playing Chaos Space Marines. It was really boring. We even took a photo to show how many models we had on the board

Now doesn't that just look like the most fun thing in the world? Anyways I got beaten and placed 4th overall in the battle because one of my Russes did some serious damage to a squad of Space marine Hellblasters or Devastators I don't really remember. What pissed me off the most is that one of the guys was running Mortarion with their Death Guard Army and somehow the Baneblade I was using whiffed all it's shots against him and then some random bastard stole the kill when he got down to one health. 

In other news I went bowling with my friends, that was like the last big hang out of the semester that we had and it was kinda bittersweet considering that next semester will be the last one we're all together. Though to focus on the bowling itself. I'm fucking ass at bowling like absolutely dogshit like I just fucked everything up man. Half the time I'd get a strike by complete accident or miss all the pins entirely. Though to be fair the rest of our group wasn't very good either, half the time they'd miss all their shots too. I also ordered pizza since I hadn't had dinner yet and the whole thing had this really slimy gross looking cheese that just stuck to the plate it was on and the whole thing just tasted like cardboard. Though I guess having bad pizza is more memorable than if it was average.

Weird side tangent but it's so fucking weird going back to Smash Brothers Brawl. Like not just the gameplay but all the quality of life stuff. You know when you get KOed there no dramatic flash of light or zoom in screen you just kinda fly away and the game ends. Also the game being slow makes it weirdly easy to string combos together like I was hitting smash attacks and up airs a fuck ton and my friend couldn't do shit it was crazy.

anyways I don't really have much else to talk about, I'm seeing Metallica on Friday so I'll probably update yall when that happens but yeah see yalls laters.
